Just wanna say thank you for coming up with this website and providing travelers into the Philippines with very useful information. I was trying to find NAIA's airport services/travel information for passengers traveling thru the airport on the net but to no avail. I can't believe that a civilian is doing the government's work. Keep up the good work! |

| [Ed's comment: Thank you Benny. We think a traveler sees things differently than the owner. We travelers have to carry our luggage and look for a taxi. The owner sits in his office and must run the business.] | |

| I came across this website when I was searching for "A Heritage of Smallness", which is my favorite essay.
I was intrigued with a website publishing it as the news for the day. I was even more intrigued when I
discovered that a foreigner is actually the person behind this.
Anyway, I love the way this website promotes the resort. It gives extensive information about the Philippines at the same time. I never thought I would find a literary material in a resort's website! Cool! |

| Thanks to all involved who wrote the NAIA airport guides. Using the information provided, we passed the arrival, transfer and departure without problems! Never thought it was so easy. The guides are just perfect! |

| Many thanks for the very useful info in this website. Is Airport Taxi also available in Terminal 2 since Philippine Airline landing here ? Is it safe to use it to downtown in the late of the night ? Many thanks in advance for your kind info. |
|
| [Ed's comment: Thank you Yonathan. Yes, there are taxis available at all 3 terminals of NAIA. And yes, they are sure, but note the license plate number with a ballpen on your hand. So, the driver knows, that you can identify him.] | |

| Margie and I were both surprised to find little or nothing to
purchase as gifts for deserving friends back here in the USA. So here's
an idea, there should be an artisan's guild, and if there isn't, the idea
of developing one might be something you could enjoy seeing arise; the area
can't expect to develop tourism without even the possibility of nice crafts
or gifts. We saw June, the Cebu Airline mgr at the Kalibo airport, he's hot
to develop tourism, and maybe some enthusiastic western leadership my at least
get the guild organized so that indigenous crafts and art could be a new source
of local economic enterprise. Not that Ernst, Sylvia or Rene actually HAVE
to work, but it might be a fun thing to imagine. WONDERFUL getting to know you. ------ Dana |

| [Ed's comment: Maybe Dana hasn't visited the right places. There is the Piña Shop in Kalibo, the potters village in Lezo. We are looking forward to transform your idea in an action.] | |

| I feel so delighted when I saw the pictures of this Silent Garden.I never thought that Dumatad a small barrio of Tangalan could develop such a place like this.
A place for soul searching. When I was small, I used to pass by in this place going to
Jawili. I miss my hometown so much. I was born and grew up to my childhood in Poblacion.
It's been a long time since I have my vacation. My message for now is to promote this nice and cozy place for a vacation.
When I'm depressed I just search in the internet like"all about tangalan, aklan, phils." and I happened to see "Bugna it Tangalan" its so nostalgic.
As I have said I will promote your "The Silent Garden" here
in USA for those who want to visit the Philippines. God Bless you all! Wish more development for Dumatad. |
