The typhoon has again strengthened: Maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gusts of up to 230 km/h.
Update 5:00PM UTC+8: PAGASA expects the Typhhon to make landfall on Saturday morning in the area of Aurora-Isabela in North Luzon
New outlook predicts a Category 4 Typhoon when approaching North Luzon.

( 2.9 / 17 )While Tropical Storm KETSANA - ONDOY leaves the Philippines in direction of Vietnam, a new Tropical Depreesion (Number 18) forms over Guam.
There is no alert yet, but the isobaric map shows a series of 2 low pressure zones moving west on 10° North.
None of the SEA Weather Agencies has yet published a warning or alert.

The tropical storm Ketsana - Ondoy brought great masses of rain over Luzon. Metro Manila got in only 6 hours more rain than usually during the whole month of September.
A top PAGASA official said the level of rainfall is expected to even surpass 391.7 mm average rainfall in Quezon City for the entire month of September.
Television channels speak of at least 52 deaths. Broadcast pictures show people up to the neck in the floods. Others found temporary refuge on the roofs of their houses.
Meanwhile PAGASA lifted all Storm Signals in the Philippines, but warns that more rains will follow as Ondoy exits
