The Roessli in Menzingen (Switzerland)
This is my very last evening in Switzerland.
Heidi and Hugo from the Gotthard in Goldau recommendet a fine country-side restaurant: The Roessli in Menzingen.

I have been surprised by this small restaurant. Cheerful people, careful waiters and excellent cuisine. While I only ate a small pizza, I got tasty sauces aside. I never felt alone in my corner, because a cheerful staff served me always with a smile.

Sorry, they do not yet have a website, but they do have e-mail. Be sure to reserve: ROESSLI-MENZINGEN

Still in good old Switzerland
I realy like Pinoy cuisine. But being till tomorrow in Switzerland I had the pleasure to taste real Swiss Cuisine. I've been 3 times at the Gotthard in Goldau and I have always been greeted and served as a friend.

The staff is smiling even at 11:00 PM and the kitchen is delicious.
I did eat a Roesti Hugo. So I am sorry that Hugo did loose a bit of wight. And I did get a pound more...

If you feel hungry in the country of Willhelm Tell, stop by the Gotthard in Goldau.

Cheers to the whole crew at the GOTTHARD in Goldau.

Dear, Sonja, Heidi, Mauro and Hugo see you soon in Dumatad or Jawili

The perfect Cyber-Hotel
Your editor is being in Switzerland until next week, but you will not be without news. He found a fine hotel in a remote place called Menzingen (central Switzerland) and there, he found the perfect hotel.

The services and cuisine are excellent but the top surprise is the communications and IT equipment in each room (see below).

Maybe it's a good sign that your ed lives in room #13 :-u

The Silent gardens Team strongly recommends the Ochsen in Menzingen.

Questions and Feedback Forms improved
We get more and more requests for information (e.g. weather, embassies and tours). Unfortunately there are often mistyped e-mail addresses, our answer bounces back and we cannot help.

The last such message came from Patrick McCormick. Sorry Patrick, our answer came back with a message saying that your address does not exist.

We therefore did insert a second e-mail address field in our forms. If you do not copy/paste :-u you can be sure that your message passes only, when both entries are identical.

Greetings from your webmaster.

Our photo website is now on-line
Today we did create a new website. Lots of our visitors did ask us for more photos. We therefore decided to create a photo album with more pictures than in this site. The pictures are sorted by theme.

Have a look here: www.philpho.com
