We warmly recommend Andres Ferrer's Fruit Stand at the intersection of the roads from San Miguel to Santa Rosario near Buenavista. Andres is said to have the best fruits.

You can find green and yellow mangoes, pinapples and all derivative products such as dried mangoes, pinapple and mango jam.

If you think to bring yellow mangoes back to the USA or Europe then buy them not ripe, still hard and a little bit green. Otherwise you risk to bring back "mango-mousse". Mangoes are extremely fragile, so keep them well protected in your carry-on lugguage.
