Jasmin by the Sea Resort

"The Lonely Planet Guide" writes: It is difficult to leave Jasmin's. This idyllic, friendly little place on the beach at Bug-ong is one of the best-value places in Mindanao. There are 2 large, clean wood-floored rooms with modern bathrooms and 2 individual cottages. There is a an open-air restaurant and bar serving excellent Western and Filipino food. Motorcycles and mountain bikes are available for rent.

The resort is about 100m off the costal road directly on the beach. Boats to White Island can be hired and Johnny's Dive and Fun organizes dive trips from this resort. (Insider Tip: Come have a beer in the evening at the bar, you may encounter Johnny himself and have a chat about submarine life).
