The Silent Garden Resort (Rooms)

The guesthouse accommodates only 2 guests (a maximum number of 4 guests is possible). A ceiling fan produces a steady breeze. There is no need for aircon because all windows remain open. They are equiped with mosquitonets. When you are inside there is no danger of mosquito bites. There is no TV in the guesthouse, but feel free to watch your favourite channel in the living room of the main-house. For Internet adicts a WiFi Hotspot with a 512k uplink gives you access to the world.
The large bed sleeps two tall adults. Another two beds of the same size can be installed within minutes. The guesthouse has its private bath with warm and cold water. In the refrigerator you find always a fine selection of drinks (softdrinks, beer, wine as well as harder stuff). Please feel free to drink what you like. All drinks are included in the fullboard service.
The guesthouse has its own private garden-cottage. Relax in its shadow after a sunny day at the beach. Have a cool drink from the guesthouse's own refrigerator. Enjoy a candle-light dinner for two in this beautiful place. Listen to the birds voices and hume the perfume of the flowers.
Around the guesthouse's cottage you can find over 30 kinds of orchids.

The Silent Garden Resort (Restaurant)

The restaurant serves you in 3 different places of your choice: the guesthouse's garden cottage, the mainhouse's terrace or the livingroom. The restaurant's outstanding quality and variety is known all over Aklan. Only the best products are used for the international cuisine. They come either from the resort's own garden (vegetable, salads and herbs) or are selected on the local markets around the resort.
If you prefer, your dinner may be served indoor. A spacy livingroom welcomes you for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cable TV offers over 80 channels.
Happy hour with your hosts (on the right). Feel free to join your hosts between 5 pm and 7 pm for a drink and a chat. This is also the moment to discuss the activities of the next day and to choose tommorrow's meals.
The resorts cuisine is international with accent on French, Swiss and Italian style. Italian pasta is freshly prepared, Swiss Rösti is served with a veal saussage exclusively prepared by a Swiss butcher on the Philippines. French style boeuf à la bourgogne is prepared either from selected beef or carabao bought in the very early hours of the day on the local markets. You may also try the Filipino kitchen with fresh fish caught just off the resort's beach. For some local specialities a local cook will join the resort's crew. (e.g. chicken adobo). The editor's choice is the outstanding carabao carpacho with Italian parmesan cheese and olives. The fresh basil leaves come from the resort's own garden.
