The Treehouse

The original Treehouse had been built in 1987. Originally there were 2 treehouses and 4 other houses made of bamboo and nipa. The sea and storms destroyed one treehouse completely. The other one and the foundations of the other houses degraded in the following years. But in early summer 2008 funds were risen and invested in the restoration of this unique place. On August 10th, 2008 the Treehous was reopened with a fine party.
The Treehouse
The Treehouse is conveniently situated just over the runway of Mambajao airport. There is no noise from the airport because there are only 3 flights per week wit a small aircraft. The Treehouse gives you a unique sight over the Bohol Sea and the fisher's village of Bolok-Bolok. There are absolutely no noisy activities around. To the town center of Mambajo it is just a ten minutes walk.
