Astonishing Camiguin
Camiguin is known for its outstanding nature conservation, for its beaches and mountains and for its waterfalls and springs.
Among the best known springs are the Ardent Hibok-Hibok Hot Springs, the Bura Soda Pool and the Sto. Niño Cold Spring. Less known but also beautiful and refreshing are the Macaw Cold Spring with its blue copper water and the Saai Cold Spring up in the hills.
Last Sunday during one of our Hummer trips we discovered a new refreshing pool in the municipality of Sagay in the south-west of Camiguin.
The Tubod Swimmingpool
The Tubod Swimmingpool is a natural swimming pool just 150m off the highway between bushes and coconut trees. Even on a sunny summer Sunday it is not as overcrowded as the Sto. Niño Cold Spring and you can reach it on a very good concrete road.
