Boat moving – more fun in the Philippines

Boat moving is definitely more fun in the Philippines. This morning the crew of the Camiguin Action Geckos moved the elderly dive boat, The Lady Julia, to a new spot. 

They didn’t do it on the water because there might have been some holes. They pushed the boat over the beach using banana tree trunks for better gliding. This is one of the things I like here in the Philippines. One does not need high-tech equipment and heavy gear to do a job. No, the whole village comes and helps you.

There is much laughter while doing the hard job. And much more laughter and prattle when the job is successfully done.
