Strong Earthquake in Masbate
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted the provinces of Masbate, Albay and Sorsogon this morning at 07:06 morning.
The earthquake of tectonic origin was felt in Masbate with intensity VI,
Intensity IV in Irosin, Sorsogon; Cabid-an, Sorsogon City and Roxas City
Intensity III in Sigma, Capiz; Catarman and Capul Island, Northern Samar; Almagro and Tagapul-an, Western Samar
Intensity II in Iloilo City and Legaspi City
Intensity Iin Kalibo and Numancia, Aklan
The earthquake was located at 12.40 degrees north, 123.63 degrees east, three kilometers north of Masbate, with a depth of 23 kilometers.
