Hotel ratings are always very subjective and depend on your personal mood at the moment when you enter a hotel and the memories you brought home from your journey.
Hotel ratings also depend on the match of guest and house. A 5***** used guest would not feel easy in a backpacker lodge and write a corresponding review and a backpacker would not be able to appreciate the services and amenities of a palace hotel.
But when lots of people rate a hotel or resort and give him an “excellent” score, there lies a lot of truth. this is we are so happy to inform you that our neighbors, the Camiguin Action Geckos earned the first place in services out of 8 hotels rated in Camiguin and in the same category they are ranked N° 4 of all Philippines’ hotels.

The rooms, the restaurants, the bars and the surroundings you very often can see in the hotel’s presentation (printed on glossy paper or on-line on the web). But the service you only can experience and you depend on it during your whole stay.
