Tropical Depression “Caloy” towards Camiguin

Tropical depression “Caloy” has already made its landfall over Tandag City, Surigao del Sur and is moving towards Camiguin island, where the center of the depression is expected between 6 and 8 p.m. today.

The tropical depression has maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h, but in Camiguin it is calm at 0 km/h.

On its way north-northwest, Tropical Depression “Caloy” had brought heavy rains in south-east Mindanao.  Torrential rains spawned by “Caloy” caused flooding in 11 villages in Davao del Norte and Compostela Valley province.  3,387 families or 16,935 people were affected by the flood in Davao del Norte and  Compostela Valley.
