Early this week a tropical storm, now internationally called Bopha has developed over Micronesia. This storm is now getting stronger and moving westwards at 20km/h(10kt). TS Bopha is near to the equator, so even if turning later to north-west or north, it is very probable that it will hit the Philippines. It is still too early to determine the local region that will encounter TS Bopha. We shall be tracking this storm in the next days.
The Japanese Meteorological Agency spawns the probability from south of Mindanao up to central Luzon.
The multi-agency forecast points rather to the Visayas and Bicol.
