Gray skies and strong winds at the 17th Hotair Balloon Fiesta

Gray skies and strong winds at the 17th Hotair Balloon Fiesta in Clark Freeport Zone did not reduce the number of visitors.

Visitors had to get up early if they wanted to be in a good spotting position. The traffic jam on the highway started already before dawn.

Funny shapes in the gray sky. Among the standard hotair balloons there were several funny ones like this birthday cake. Others were a sunflower and several advertisement balloons.

Strong winds sometimes made safe take-offs and landings difficult.
