Low Pressure Area now East of Samar

Weather 2013-09-29

Two days ago we spotted a Low Pressure Area (LPA) east of Mindanao in the vicinity of Palau. This is hovering still east of the Philippines and has slightly gotten stronger – down from 1006 to 1004 hPa.

This LPA and typhoon WUTIP/Paolo amplify the south-west monsoon and bring  moderate to strong winds and clouds over most of the Philippine islands.
