Cebu Pacific Air has reduced the number of daily flights between Cebu and Camiguin to 1 (one) flight.

Departure from Cebu at 05:25 a.m.
Departure from Camiguin at 06:10 a.m.

CAUTION: On some days the flights operate later. Cebu departure at 06:30 a.m. Camiguin departure at 07:10 a.m.

New Travel Hassle in Jagna

Jagna is feared among travelers for its administrative overkill. Before you can drive your car on the ferry you have to visit 5 booths and offices. You pay here 129 Pesos and there 2 Pesos and get papers and stamps in return. The worst are the photocopies they require from your car papers and driver license.

Photocopies are only available inside the market. So you are running between offices, booths and the market to fulfill all these silly requirements. And  the thieves follow you. They just wait for the moment when you get too stressed with your paper stuff. Then they hit and run with your belongings. The market is the perfect hiding place. Jagna police says that they could do nothing. The CCTV cameras are there just for fun.

I fear that earth will vanish before the Philippines will be able to sell “all inclusive” tickets.

Been so long since your last update and now 2 at once, just like busses 🙂

I’m not suprised about Cebu Pacific cancelling the second flight, didn’t seem very busy but it will be back on in December according to both their office and their website but as usual with Cebu Pacific take it with a large helping of salt.

I had booked my tickets for next month using the second flight but had to get them rearranged (which was actually an extremely easy process) for that early ungodly hour flight, I wish they had kept the later flight and cancelled the earlier one.

Hello, just a follow up on my previous post.
It seems that Philippine Airlines are going to fly from Cebu – Camiguin from 01 December using their Bombardier Dash-8 planes.

This being the Philippines though, I shall wait to see the flight with my own eyes before believing.

      Hi Chris,
Thanks for you input. This time it might really become true. The business bush drums are also playing this same song.
Clark had been announced a while ago. Inside Mindanao routes are safer than on the road. Finally the Indians in Cebu-Mactan do a quiet good job.
But like you do, I’ll start to sing when I sit in my first biz-class flight from Camiguin to Cebu.
      Cheers, waebi
