Tropical Storm WUKONG / Quinta passaed a bit more north than expected and is now in the vicinity of Boracay island.
The storm is moving west-northwest with a foreward speed of 26 km/h. The storm has slightly strengthened and has now maximum winds of 65 km/h near the center and gusts are up to 85 km/h.
All agencies forecast a western direction. Depending on the strength of Amihan, a light deviation northwards may happen.
The JMA track shows the storm having changed its direction when making landfall in Panay.
