RED DAM ALERT on La Mesa Dam

La Mesa Dam in Quezon City was placed on red alert as of 3:00 a.m. this morning, with residents in the nearby areas having to evacuate.
The dam’s water level was 79.61 m above sea level, and was 54 cm away from overflow.

Several dams in Luzon have now one or more gates open 

Listen to your local radio or watch national TV stations. Ask your local authorities and if needed prepare for evacuation.
