Tropical Storm WASHI / Sendong continues toward Bukidnon and Iligan

Tropical Storm WASHI / Sendong follows its track over Central Mindano. Its moving direction west to north-west will bring it to Bukidnon and then Iligan.

On the forecast track, the core of WASHI/Sendong will cross Agusan Del Sur & Bukidnon tonight, passing in between the cities of Iligan and Cagayan de Oro around midnight and will be along Iligan Bay by early Saturday morning. It will then move across Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga del Norte by Sunrise Saturday as it passes very close to Dipolog and Dapitan City. By Saturday afternoon, WASHI/Sendong will be moving across the Sulu Sea and will touch Southern Palawan early Sunday morning.

PAGASA has reduced their storm warnings and storm signals.

Here in Camiguin the wind got stronger (around 60 km/h). Our only remaining concern is the 1.4 m high tide at 02:20 AM tonight.
