A New Ferry Line will be Camiguin’s Christmas gift.
This morning when I checked the facebook news an advertisement caught my attention:
Here’s another Ferry happy Christmas news to all. Pack your bags and get ready for another exciting experience! Travel through FastCat from Jagna, Bohol to Camiguin Island to Opol, Misamis Oriental formerly part of Cagayan de Oro and vice versa. See you soon!
I had already written about the rumors in my recent article Camiguin Transportation Fall-Winter 2017-2018
Interesting is the fact that New Ferry Line will sail from Opol instead of Cagayan de Oro. The date of launch and the schedules have not yet been published. We’ll update this post as soon as the information will be available. You may want to check FastCat’s facebook page.

Thanks for the confirmation.
That the new flights and the ferry routes will come seems now to be confirmed at 80%.
But how long they will last is another question. I profoundly hate this UFN.
And I’ve seen too many come and leave here in Camiguin – I think you’ve seen even more …
