Super-Typhoon “JELAWAT / Lawin” is now moving Northwest at 13 km/h. It Today it will move east of the Batanes Islands towards Taiwan.

The typhoon has developed an incredibly big eye:

– Moving Northwest at 13 km/h
– Central pressure is 920 hPa
– Max. wind is 195 km/h near center
– Gusts are 230 km/h

PAGASA issued the following storm warnings:

Signal 3 (101-185 km/h winds) in:
– Batanes Group of Islands

Signal 2 (61-100 km/h winds) in:
– Cagayan
– Calayan
– Babuyan Group of Islands

Signal 1 (30-60 km/h winds) in:
– Ilocos Norte
– Kalinga
– Apayao
– Abra
– Isabela
