Cyclone USAGI / Odette upgraded to Tropical Storm
Cyclone USAGI / Odette has intensified and has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm.
At 10:00 a.m. today, the center of Tropical Storm “ODETTE” was estimated at 820 km East of Tuguegarao City (17.6° N, 130.5° E). Maximum winds are 65 km/h near the center and gustiness is up to 80 km/h. The storm moves westward at 7 km/h.
PAGASA has declared Strom Signal #1 in Cagayan including Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands.
