Ferries sunk?

Super-Shuttle-Ferry-11

Ferries sunk? All our communication channels are going mad. A first message informed us that a boat sunk between Benoni (Camiguin) and Balingoan (Mindanao).

Our inquiries first showed up with Super Shuttle Ferry #15 sunken in Benoni. But Super Shuttle Ferry #15 does not operate from Benoni port. The ferry is too big. After more inquiries we learned that moored Super Shuttle Ferry #15 sunk in the port of Balbagon (Camiguin) because of high waves in the unprotected port.

Later we got the message that the sister ship, Super Shuttle Ferry #11, coming to rescue and help, also got in troubles. The last text message says that both ships are under water now.

All this information comes from the guy in the Super Shuttle ticket booth in Benoni. We have no direct witness in Balbagon. Stay tuned …

Ferry sunk? Some islanders here think of a hoax. Mixed communication in Tagalog vs. Visayan makes the inquiry task not easy.

And by the way, there is no more wind and no more rain in Agoho, Camiguin.
