Weather gets ugly (update 09:00 PM)

Last update today. The Japanese Meteorological Agency (JMA) has upgraded LPA 95W to Tropical Depression status.

The pressure in the center is now at 1004 hPa and winds are 30 kts near the center and gusts are at 45kts. JMA expects an increase in intensity.
