Typhoon TRAMI / Maring out of PAR now
Typhoon TRAMI / Maring has again intensified last night and has been upgraded to a Category 1 Typhoon. The storm has left the Philippines Area of Responsibility (PAR) this morning at a forward speed of 30 km/h.
The storm has a central pressure of 974 hPa. This low pressure still enhances the south-west monsoon (Habagat) over the Philippines. This stream of humid air will stop when Typhoon TRAMI / Maring will have made landfall over mainland China. This landfall is expected for Thursdsay morning over Southeastern China (Fujian Province).
This is why rainfall in Luzon and on the Visayan west coast will continue until tomorrow noon time. Then the weather should get better.
